We were talking about when Jesus appeared to His disciples, but Thomas wasn't there, and he wouldn't believe until he saw Jesus for himself. And as the verse says... "see My hands..."
My helper pointed out that as the kids were making their hand prints on the poster, there was paint "missing" in the middle of their hands. Almost every print had a hole in the center. We were amazed at this discovery and were very excited to teach the children about the hole left in Jesus hand and how when he appeared to Thomas, he showed him His hands.
What an awesome reminder it was of the sacrifice Jesus made for us!

What a great reminder and a perfect activity that goes well with the verse. Cool!
Thanks!
Great lesson! I love the poster, too. Happy WFW to you.
Precious, thank you ~
I have a 3 year old son and I learn so much through the things he does and says, things that I should "know" It's such an amazing gift to be able to learn from the hearts and minds of little children.
Great WFW
This is a PERFECT illustration....we just had a sermon on doubt and this just fits in so well....You know how much we LEARN from them...
