So finally we were able to participate again - this has been a busy July so far! Glad to do it for the kiddos today again!
Last night, a new Sunday dinner tradition I hope/think - we had homemade waffles topped with homemade custard, fresh berries and/or homemade raspberry topping and whip cream - yum! So with our leftover waffles and toppings we filled our muffin tin!
The yellow/white is custard -- recipe can be found HERE on a most wonderful blog called "Mennonite Girls Can Cook"... the brown is syrup, and there was a little of the raspberry topping left as shown...I then filled another muffin tin with veggies and a dill dip - mainly for myselfHave a great Monday!

We made waffles for MTM a couple weeks ago and it was a huge hit with my kids!
Keep saying I'm going to do a breakfast tin--they always look so yummy!! You did double duty this week:-)--good for you!
I haven't made waffles in FOREVER, but between you and that link I may just have to dust off my iron. What a great tin!

Mmm, that looks delicious! And what a good idea to serve Sunday's leftovers in a fun tin! Love it.
Love the two different tins, they look delish!
My kids loooooove raw veggies and ranch dip, next time I may have to do that!
What a DARLING idea. Great repurposing and what fun cutting the waffles up for individual pieces. I would never THINK to do this. Thank goodness for creative types! :)
What a neat idea. I must remember this for the upcoming week. You did one before too and I thought "oh, I must remember that." then completely forgot. LOL.
